WIN through the face of adversity
Presenter: Devonte Woodson
Description: The answers to our present often lie in past obstacles in which we have had to overcome. Life happens "for" us and not "to" us. As leaders of after school programs and services, it is vital that we deliver programming that connects to each student that we serve. The issues they face daily - often having encountered the same issue ourselves. Being able to learn, grow, and then educate from your past mistakes, is how we can create deeper relationships for those that we serve and lead our communities effectively. Be prepared to be inspired, motivated, and educated on how you can dissect your past to impact future generations.
