Afterschool for All Challenge 2026
NAN Network lead, Kendra Gipson, and Afterschool Alliance ambassador Dr. Linda Johnson-McClinton, traveled to Washington, DC to advocate for the students and families who rely on afterschool programming every day.
By meeting with policymakers and sharing the real impact of afterschool across Nevada, they worked to protect and strengthen the funding that keeps these programs open, accessible, and life changing.
Afterschool Professionals Appreciation Week is April 20-24, 2026, and the Nevada Afterschool Network celebrates the incredible individuals who support Nevada’s youth through before school, afterschool, and school break programs. These individuals are nominated by their peers!
