Out-of-School Time Professional Pathways Certification

The Out-of-School Time Professional Pathways Certification (OSTPPC) acknowledges the education, experience, skills, and talents of Nevada’s OST providers. Operating on a three-level competency model, the OSTPPC’s Key Objectives are:
  • Quality Enhancement: Elevate program quality through highly trained OST staff.
  • Recognition and Retention: Acknowledge and retain professionals in the field through formal certification.
  • Education and Training: Encourage continuous learning and training tailored to program needs.
  • Professionalization: Advance the professional status of the OST field.
  • Career Pathways: Establish clear pathways for career growth within the OST profession.
